Tallahassee / Quincy, Florida

Unexplainable. A true mystery.
A woman will “tisk tisk” and perhaps smile condescendingly. To a man though, a good muddy road and a strong four wheel drive vehicle is as much fun as a brand new pack of firecrackers and two, … no, … three anthills to set them off in. There are few things in life more enjoyable than blowing down a slippery muddy road with steering-wheel-slapping-rock-and-roll blasting from the radio and kicking the backbeat of the music with your boots on the floorboard. A man will say “Hooo HYEAH!” and laugh in glee. A woman will say “Sweet Jeeeesus!” and cringe as if her world is coming to an end.
Muddy roads are fun.
It’s a guy thing.

(Dawn wonders if Gerie will get her 4x4 now...) hehe. I'll reserve judgement on the rest, having not done either one! ;)

All of a sudden the intro to CCR's "Up Around The Bend" is blastin' in my head!

Tallahassee is a very beautiful town! My favorite dirt road was near the airport. The dirt road to get to the out-door gun range (state park). You just have to love a state that supports the 2nd ammendment!

Its a soldier thing too and I still wrinkle my nose when they point and say...Go. I just polished my boots and then they want me to step into mud! Looking at this image my first soldier thought would be " I wonder how far I will have to march! Great shot.

Now this is just too funny, as I was just driving on the above muddy road, on my way home from work, muttering to myself the whole way about how I intend to start calling the City complaining DAILY until they pave it!!!! hmmph!!! No, I do NOT take delight in driving on that muddy mess! Though it is a great reason to trade my malibu in for a 4 wheel drive pick-up truck, which I wouldn't mind one bit! me, smiling sweetly

I must be a very strange woman, because I drive a 4x4 and I LOVE making mud fly!
