North Uist, South Uist and Benbecula

North Uist, South Uist and Benbecula. These hebridean islands have a very different character to Harris and Lewis, being far more remote and even more exposed. The people are warm and friendly, the wildlife`s fantastic.
I have tried hard not to oversaturate the images, but some may have slipped through where I think it fits the compositon
Remember a few hours on the Hebrides is all it takes for the light to change dramatically
I love these Isles, and the Uists are my favourites by far. If you have the opportunity, go!
If you have the choice avoid the main Summer season and embrace the peace you can find on them.
I dedicate these photographs to my contstant companion and dearly missed spaniel Poppy
