On the 9th of April 2009 it was the first time that a traditional performance with a Hsaing Waing music ensemble including the famous puppet marionette troup "Htwe OO" theatre was happening on board of a cruise ship.

The German "MS Europa" Vessel was stopping in Yangon for an outstanding performance of the famous and fascinating ensemble lead by U Khin Maung Htwe, who provided me with the following pictures from the performance.

I was happy to organize and manage this event in co-operation with "Hapag Llyod" in Hamburg and Mr Khin Maung Htwe, and I truly hope that this is the beginning of a long lasting relation with a growing support for the rich and outstanding traditions of Myanmar!
