Today was Benedict's birthday (my little boy is now 6!). I got home too late to witness the blowing
out of candles, but the Birthday Boy not only saved me a piece of cake but also some of the
coconut that his elder sister had brought to him. I know an object of my PaD desire when I see it.

I like the colour version better, but here is a monochrome alternative for comparison. I really
want to learn how to take really sharp black and white photographs.

Happy B-day to Benny from me as well and I agree I like the colored version as well. THe brown tone is very warm and lovely against the white inside.

Happy birthiday to the big guy. This has beautiful crips detail on the outside and is perfectly exposed to show the form of the inside while maintaining the whiteness. Masterful job.
