This is the atrium of the building where I work, the London Underwriting Centre. Pretty
spiffy, huh? I cannot believe that I have not shot a photo of the building for a PoD yet,
but there's plenty more from where this came from.

The builiding was completed in the early 1990s as sort of a rival for Lloyd's
(see http://www.pbase.com/iskaboo/image/37062698). Both buildings - Lloyd's and the LUC - boast
soaring atriums and huge banks of escalators. Some people say that both buildings are much better
suited to be shopping malls than insurance company offices.
