I thought I saw lots of Carolina wren traffic in my entryway and, sure enough, when I went out to get the mail, I heard baby peeps. Since the jug containing the nest is so high off the ground, I couldn't shoot inside it through the sidelight at my front door. I had to put the ladder outside. Sadly, I couldn't get the right angle to view inside with a dslr, so I put my trusty Sony DSC F717 to work, using the swiveling to aim the lens. I used manual mode, macro and low flash output with auto white balance. This picture was just resized down. No further processing was made. Click on "next" to see the nest location.
