"Connie Mara" had a difficult birth to a first-time mother at Connemara, the Carl Sandburg home in Flat Rock, North Carolina. Because at first she couldn't stand on her own, volunteers took her home each night for "sleepovers". She has made wonderful progress and it walking now but is still going home with volunteers.
(Of course I had taken the "right lens" off my camera just before the doorbell rang and I saw her on my lawn!} It was quite dark outside because of an approaching rainstorm, so I left the camera on ISO 1600. Wish I had had my 17-55 lens on instead of the 60 macro.
