Max crossed the Rainbow Bridge yesterday, April 5, 2004. He had a chronic condition that caused his earflaps to crack, bleed and waste away. He had been on Prednisone for 2 years and just wasn't doing well. This image showed one of his most charming eccentricities...pushing up against people's feet so they'd rub his chest with them. I printed it out and sent it to his "hu-mom".
