Book & Bee Finished Custom Puzzle

We started this puzzle several months ago. It was made from a phone photo that taken at the very artfully decorated Book and Bee breakfast and tea spot in Hendersonville, North Carolina. I loved the arrangement of the items on this serving table.

Halfway through the puzzle my sleeve caught a piece (none of the pieces from Collage.com custom puzzles lock together, so I had a volcano of displaced pieces). Note: I just learned Collage.com, its maker, is out of business but completing current orders.

I was disgusted and managed to transfer the partially completed mess to a piece of poster board and placed them on the kitchen table, where it sat for many weeks...Bill had been willing to put it back together - I was too sick of it - and then he got the flu and it sat there for another six weeks or so.

I wanted my kitchen table back so I CAREFULLY transfer board and puzzle to my piano, which turned out to be an ideal place to work on a puzzle and in three days I had it completely, except for one piece. I wasn't surprised that during all the time it sat there a piece could get lost.
When I went to take this photo there was a lot of glare on it from the skylight over the piano, so I had to carefully move the assembly to another spot with glare and EUREKA, the missing piece was under the board!

Great story, the moral of the story is ... do puzzles ... naked!

That is quite the story, especially about the completion of the puzzle at last AND finding the last missing piece. It is a really beautiful and enticing image. V
