Experimenting with his suggestion that you set the limits of the camera histogram to 245 and 10, instead of 255 and 0 so you can capture the most dynamic range without blowing highlights or eliminating shadow details. In post processing you can tweak both highlights and shadows to bring back detail. So far so good.
