I don't like to shoot in the middle of a hot, sunny day, but this towhee was making such a racket, I had to go out and find it. I think the fact that it stayed in one spot and had its beak open told me that it was either too hot or too parched, so I put out a tray of water. Hope he uses it.

The out of focus overexposed brush at the bottom of the shot was really ugly so I used the rubber stamp tool to clone some brush from a darker spot. It's not gorgeous, but it's better than what was there before.
