It swooped by with an ominous buzz and landed on the rock wall. You do not mess with a horse fly, so hoping it would still be there when I went inside for a camera with a telephoto lens so I could maintain a safe distance, I was happy this one remained in the same spot. http://www.insectidentification.org/insect-description.asp?identification=Black-Horse-Fly
