An online photography friend mentioned using a suet cage to store nesting materials and just a few minutes after I hung this one, filled with dried grass and cat fur, a titmouse was greedily emptying all the fur. I quickly combed my cat to collect more, but I did such a thorough job a couple of days ago that there was little more to collect. I've asked a friend with a border collie to collect his fur for me.
