After Rising

Chapter Two - Cronuts Chronicle - First observation when I opened the fridge door was that the dough did not rise as much as that shown on the video. When I first started rolling it out to the required 1/2 centimeter thickness, the edges of the dough cracked - that did not happen on the video. I pressed the edges together, slightly warming the dough and the rest of the roll out was pretty good. I used the same biscuit cutters as were shown on the video.

We had a Martin Luther King breakfast to go to at 8:30 and that interferde with getting these into the oil to fry, but I suspeced they weren't going to rise to spectacular heights while the next process was delayed.

When we got home they still looked quite unfluffy so I warmed up the oven for a few seconds and placed the covered tray in the oven for a bit more rising time (with the heat off, of course)
