Eureka! A convergence of elements: bird, light, camera, lens, settings. Shot through double paned front-door sidelight with Panasonic 35-100 lens at f/2.8 in silent lo speed burst mode. Most just resized down, dirt on post removed, no sharpening. In a couple of pics the head wasn't as sharp as I would like so I used a couple of clicks of the sharpen tool on it. The 35-100 is one of my favorite lenses.
