Your timing is great in capturing "slice of life" moments. You should do more of it.
What is it with women in that town drinking so early in the morning??? Different lifestyle that's for sure! We saw two women at that Alley Cat bar that one Sunday morning patiently WAITING for the place to open. Good slice of life shot!
A slice of Bakersfield -- Tim has a similar concept in his shot at the Alley Cat. In this one, the angry looking woman coming out of the door creates incongruity and tension. It looks as if she is coming out to chastise the bench sitters, shoo them off, or drag them back in.
