I saw both you and Phil working on this one and didn't see what it was that you were after. Now that I do I have to congratulate you...it's beautifully done! Interesting how everyone's vision of the same subject is different.
I remember you working on this one as well. This is a brilliant solution -- to build the image around the curving hood latch and the logo, using the curve of the shadow in the within the car as a rhythmic context. In my own image athttp://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/56186753 I took out the name and instead tried to stress the opposing curves with great force, as well as the texture of the light on the chrome. Once again, we see the same subject with different eyes and make images that tell the same story in quite different ways.
