Fun to see the characters along the way. Of course they see us as the "characters".

Glad to know that Elmer Long is still available as a symbolic embodiment of Old Route 66. He has not changed much since I photographed him in his study ten years ago this week. (http://www.pbase.com/image/56190674 )
