The 11th Century St. John's Hospital is located next to the Church of Our Lady. It is one of Europe's oldest surviving hospital buildings and was a place where sick pilgrims and travelers were cared for in the Middle Ages. It lost its function as a hospital in 1978 and is used today as a museum and exhibition center.
