Jamestown_69 - Pocahontas Statue - 3

Pocahontas was a young girl when the English colonists landed in Jamestown. She was the daughter of Powhatan - Chief of the Native Americans of that area. She later converted to Christianity and married one of the colonists - John Rolfe. She travelled to England where she met the king and was celebrated. She became ill and died and was buried in England.
