Lake Erie Lines

CSX and Norfolk Southern each operate lines that roughly parallel the shore of Lake Erie east of the Cuyahoga River. CSX's line is the busiest, featuring 60-mph double track, Collinwood Yard, and the Short Line connecting Collinwood with Berea. NS operates a moderately-used single-track line that parallels the CSX line east of Cleveland and runs through Lakewood and points further west.
