Joshua Tree National Park is located in southern California, just east of Palm Springs. It's essentially a desert landscape with some rolling hills punctuated by boulders and small canyons. Apparently the best time to photograph this area is in the Spring when it comes alive with wildflowers. We went through the park at the end of November and really had to work hard to come up with interesting scenes to photograph. However, it was good practice and gave my new 12-24mm UWA zoom a good workout!
