Lygus Bugs
Great little bugs crawling around on Spikeweed in the South Bay.
Family Miridae, which are Hemiptera -- True Bugs -- so in this case it's correct to call them "bugs."
They're different colors, I believe based on age. I also think they're all adults. I measured one at 5.5 mm overall length, so they're pretty small.
