harmon kardon FM tuner

Works well in all respects. Tuning meters work OK, as do the dial lights.

Dial is spot-on at 88.5, off 3-400 kHz at the top end.

Pressing on one of the metal power supply electrolytics can produce hum; press the other way and it stops; this
is no doubt a poor connection between the can and chassis -- need to take off the bottom plate and do some
resoldering. I may or may not get around to that -- right now I need to lighten up in preparation for a move.

My dad built this kit in the late 50's and used it continuously for 35 years. I still have the
manuals. There's no cabinet -- that would have made it too large for the family's hi-fi enclosure.
