Ordinary

This is pretty much what you find in old places as far a door knobs go.
It really does not matter if the knob was glass, brass or nickel plated
you can rest assured someone has got to it with a can of some ugly paint.
These are cool finds as the paint wears off and the rust or glass starts to show.
I often wonder if the painter ever dreamed they would be captured forever
at some point in time looking like this....

Nikon D200
1/125s f/4.2 at 36.0mm iso400 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Great shot. I love the subtle color and the texture of the knob. This was well seen Mikey.

Great focus and dof. My wife gets paint on everything. ;)
Painting ain't my thing.

As a sometime painter, I can only say...
...DON"T PAINT THE FRIGGIN" KNOBS!

Ordinary – or Extraordinary? Nice comp of a timeless, everyday item; even with the ‘ugly’ paint’
