Crappy Workmanship

It just drives me crazy when I see people pay good money for a service and get "Crappy Workmanship"
Case in point my stepdaughters car had a few problems over the past month, battery, ignition control module and using rare amounts of oil.
With the first two out of the way and running good again it was time to change the oil
and see if I could find any signs of oil loss.
Once I had removed the oil filter cartridge I found this (odd twist and collapse).
This is not right!!! And the oil filter housing with an unusual amount of oil around it.
Yup you may have guess it the last guy/place that did her oil change forgot to
put the O-ring in the housing cover, this lead to the cover putting to much load on the filter and causing what you see here.
Oh yes and the oil leak and loss of oil!!!!
Crappy service, just crappy service...........

I forgot to remove the old O-ring once back when I did my own oil changes. Leaked oil for a block down the street before I could get back home and fix it.
