Rise Up & Come To Me

I don't ever get creeped out much at all....but I do every so often....
The front of this place is very creepy in thick bush and trees covered in snow.
Art work makes some of the images unsuitable for posting and this just makes for a bone chilling shot.
Yup I've been in some pretty bad places and even in them at night....but this takes the creepy cake.....
This is an arm with a shroud over the hand.....the rest of the body is inside and the head once nailed to the roof
lies in the yard smashed to bits.....

The statue was a public art project by a local SK artist meant to pay homage to the strenth of women settlers on the prairies. Her outstretched hand that you see out the window is holding a cloth. Her feet are down in the first level and there was a head on the roof. Not sure if that's still there. Unfortunately the statue is made of chicken wire and plaster so it's starting to crumble. There are actually brochures about it at the Humboldt historical society. After reading about it I had to check it out and the creepiness factor did not disappoint. I couldn't get my mom anywhere near it, there is definitely something weird about this place. Too bad the vandals have gotten to it. And one final note, the bushes around the home are lilacs and they smell great in the summer.

Man that is creepy! Watch out for a guy with a Texas accent and a chainsaw! Run, Mikey, run! Wow! You sure find some interesting stuff!

Now that’s what the zooms for - tight crop on a black window with an anguished arm reaching for hope in a desolate land.

Well captured creepiness. So, please, tell us about that freaky arm...

Very neat find - glad you posted it; after being 'creeped' out. What's the story of the large human figurine?

Huh? What is that sticking out of the window?
