Helicopter Heaven

You just never know what you may find in outback Saskatchewan.
While it may look as if I made a quick trip to the USA these four US Air Force Rescue Sikorsky S-58 (UH-34)
lay in a field in Saskatchewan no where near the border......
Quick Facts:
Rotor Diameter 56ft
Length 46ft 9in
Height 15ft 11in
Weights Empty 7,900 lbs
Gross 13,000 lbs
Engine Wright R-1820-84 1,500HP
They were the last of the large HP piston engine machines before the turbine powered ones.
Variants of this model were produced from 1954 -64.
I have these marked to go back and "Paint" soon.....

Nikon D300 ,Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 AF-S ED IF G N

other sizes: small medium original auto

Might be similar to the "boneyard" for old military planes that we have out in Arizona. Great find though.
