June 29 - Mushroom - shitake brown

Lacey, WA view map

Went to a mushroom festival today and found a few things. Thought that I would share these mushrooms as they march along just like in the movie "Fantasia". Well, maybe I am stretching it a bit but that is how it looks to me.

If I see mushrooms, I am a child again....looking for faries. Did you see them?

Awesome find, looks like both the mushrooms and the endless mop army rolled into one :o)

This is great. I have never seen these except in my local vegetable shop! Lovely to see them growing.

Fantasia is one of my favorite movies and The Sorcerer's Apprentice score is especially one of my favorites. Great capture. Love the DOF and POV on this.

One of my favorite movies of all time! You are right. It does look like those mushrooms.

Nice color too!
