Great comment Tim! That made me laugh! Her curlers certainly made this image more interesting! I definitely noticed that the perception of vanity is quite different in China. They may appreciate personal grooming and beauty but they are also very pragmatic people. I have even seen people walking around in the streets in their pyjamas at night in China. Why bother with so many changes in clothes? After all you're going home to sleep eventually. Why not save a load of laundry and get straight into your PJs!!!!
