Only an old man and his wife lives in this house, which also appears in my previous image. As we enjoyed the cool shade of his house and sipped on the cold drinks he sold, he chats with one of our fellow photographers who asked about his life. He obliged and chatted in mandarin. I couldn't understand the language, but from his nostalgic smile and tone of his voice, it's easy to tell that he had fond memories of his life on this island.
