As we wandered through Ubin Island, we saw several abandoned houses tucked into the jungle. While the island is now promoted as a tourist attraction, there were no fences, signs or guards to keep curious tourists away from trampling around these properties. Some of these ruins looked interesting, but some looked decidedly eerie. According to SPI - Singapore Paranormal Investigators - Ubin Island is rumoured to be the most haunted place in Singapore. The question I often had to face was - how far dare I go?
