Stan Justis has just informed Smoke Signals that his long time friend and fellow Warrior Rev. Timothy Mowry, CHS 63, died while on vacation in the Cayman Islands.

Michigan, Interlochen - TIMOTHY "Tim" E. MOWRY, Pastor, Redeemer Lutheran Church, Interlochen, MI, entered eternal life with Christ suddenly on May 26, 2008 at age 62. An avid traveler, amateur photographer and delightful conversationalist, his final days were spent surrounded by family and friends in Grand Cayman, British West Indies. Pastor Mowry will be especially missed by members of Redeemer Lutheran Church, where he had served as Pastor for 27 years. His love for God was reflected in his love for life, family and others. Tim was a classmate of mine two years at St. Paul's Jr. College, in Concordia, Missouri. I remember visiting Tim the Summer of 1965, at his parents home in Memphis, TN. Tim's legacy is what I expected of his life. You can find his freshman picture at this link: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1520217485916.2069537.1248902787&l=4eedfee31f
Thank you to his parents for the gift of your son.
