> This is a quick update before we leave for Nashville tomorrow. John is
> scheduled for surgery at Vanderbilt on Tuesday April 15 around noon. His
> surgery should last about 4 hours, and hopefully we will come home in one to two
> days and recuperate from here. We are praying that all the cancer will be
> eradicated. Thank you all for your prayers concerning him. We have a great God
> who is able to do more than we ask or think. Continue to remember John in the
> days ahead and give thanks with us even ahead of time that He is always with us
