Underwater

This is Javier, my sponsored boy, swimming in our hotel pool. These boys are 19 to 20 years old. In some ways they are older than their peers in the United States, because they need to know how to survive, literally. In other ways, they are so naive, because they have not been spoiled by material things. They could spend hours playing in the pool and entertaining themselves, which is very refreshing to see.
