Rochester, Michigan, USA... Leader Dog for the Blind

As Most of You know, we raise Leader Dog Puppies for the blind.
Today was the long dreaded day of return for our 6th Leader puppy,
Angel. I chose her for the subject of the motion challenge because
today she walked down that long hall and out of our lives and into her
new home at the Leader Dog kennel, now in some 8 months or so, she will
move into the life of a blind person, and in so doing, she will
become their best friend, and she will enable them to become mobil
and make their life full of the many things that they have not done
since they lost their sight or if they were born blind, she will give them
the freedom to now move about as they choose. She will open thier
world and become their eyes as she guides them for the future!
Now Angel, walk slow, don't get too excited, and no pull!

Joy and sadness wrapped up in one. The joy knowing Angel will give mobility to someone and the sadness of seeing her go. A wonderful capture Kelly.

Critique - As Pam mentioned I feel it is a wee bit too bright.

A lovely shot Kelly, always such an emotional time parting with these guys. I have a niece who is tolly blind and she is on her secong dog now and I know how much they mean to these people.

she is definitely a sweetie

Great concept, Kelly, esp with Angel's head turning, as if to sneak a peek to say good bye.
I couldn't do what you do, Rev, it would be to heartbreaking!

This photo of Angel, and the necessary goodbye, touched my heart.

AS always, I seem to echo Pam. Best of luck, Angel. I know you will live up to your name helping your new owner and best friend.

A great shot! Your explanation and the thought of saying good bye made me all teary eyed! Good luck Angel, I hope you spend many years, in service, living up to your name!

As far as critique goes. Exposure is a bit on the bright side but still good, clarity is right on, subject is interesting and timing of your shot with Angel's head turned to the side is great!
