Apache - Size Reference

XD This is Apache - the VERY FIRST CRESTED GECKO TO HATCH AT THE KRAUSS-HOLD!

His parents are Harley and either Emerson or Honey (I think Honey, but I'm not sure - the girls are in together.)

His birthday? 04.01.08.

APRIL FOOLS!

...He tried to trick me by taking 'forever' (a figurative term, considering how impatient I was), and getting me all worried that he was malformed or going to die in his egg or somesuch.

I don't know if it is a boy or girl yet, and wont for a while, but I'm very proud of it, either way. :D

I also wonder how much the colors are going to change as it matures; I love them the way they are - kinda remind me of Duffy.

Incubated (approx) 90 days.

Nikon D200
1/100s f/6.3 at 200.0mm iso1250 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

That's either a very small lizard, or a really big BIC pen cap, Kasi. ;)

Wow! It is really small. Be fun to watch it grow.

Great way to measure him. He looks interested in the cap. He is adorable.

You got a lot of growing to do boy. Eat all your meal worms and you'll grow up strong like Daddy!
