I was invited to visit the Serbian Orthodox Monastery on the Krka River near Zadar in 1972. They were having a weekend retreat for young people and there was a Greek-American in our group in Zagreb. They invited Milt and me to join them. In addition to Serbs from Zagreb, there were Ethiopian students. It was a very interesting time and I got to descend into the catacombs below the church. This picture was taken with a Leica screw mount camera I owned for exactly one roll of film. Notice the cut off heads....not my idea of a useful camera.
