With those long bills, I couldn't get over the feeling that it had to be more cumbersome than it was worth. Even the way they move and perch, it looks like these birds are just trying to deal with this huge part of their body that's mostly in the way. We would have loved to have seen them go into a long deep flower with that bill to show off their specialization. There were some such flowers around, but we just didn't stay at Guango long enough to see them visit one.
