In the technical sense of the theme, this is a very strong representation. in the artistic sense, this is beautiful. Lovely focus throughout the image. This is perfect.

I know you're not in love with the Marc, but you just made an already good shot much better. Great negative space in this shot, and the rose no longer looks "suspended".

Well, the treatment of the flower with the beads of water and the sidelighting is great, so for that reason it is a very good image indeed, but I think I have would have liked to see just a bit of the stem too, maybe that's what you think is missing?

Well you may think it is your worst shot in some time, but I kind of like it and I think it is one of the only true low key shots in the comp. This based on what I have been reading both in the forum and on web tutorials.

I like th light coming through the petals and the water on the leaf behind. The black really sets the edges off nicely and makes for a very effective offset against the color. brent
