Great picture of an old family homestead! My family lived there when I was a child from around 1959 until 1966, when we moved away. I remember the one summer that my dad painted the whole house by himself! We had a hidey-hole under the floor at the top of the stairs where we hid our treasures. The last I saw it during a visit in 2001, it was looking pretty sad. I'm glad someone has rebuilt the back porch (from which many a deer hung every November) and is taking care of it.
Wonderful pictures - my husband and I just viewed them all. We are from Lancaster County and go to Potter County for 4th of July every year. This got us ready for summer. We really enjoyed this - you do wonderful work.
