Waiting to Depart

DFW International Airport, Texas

My wife had been out of town for a couple of days on a business trip.
I arrived early at the airport to pick her up.
While sitting in the parking garage, I looked across the way and saw people waiting in a private departure lounge.
With my 300mm lens, I guess it's not as private as they thought.
As touchy as they are at the airport these days, I was slightly concerned that airport security would come up to me if they saw me sitting in my car taking pictures with that long lens.
Fortunately, no one seemed to notice.

Airport security anymore is a joke...it is too bad that it is. I too was taking some photos at the end of runway and thought the same thing, but like yourself nothing happened. : (

I've forwarded a link to your photo to Homeland Security. You should be hearing from them shortly.
