This road up near the lake gets this kind of whiteout every time the winds are out of the SW because there is a large pond to the south of the road. Most of the rest of the roads in my area were dry and clear today unlike yesterday when a deadly 36 car pile up occurred on an expressway. We really didn't get any snow over the past two days but the predictions are for close to a foot in the next two days. It could get very interesting weather wise around here.
