Home. Known amongst the Stockport homeless as the 'beach'. Usually the river is not so high, so getting across to it requires only wading. This is beneath the motorway ring-road. You don't see anyone there during the day. It is too risky, as the council have made a viewing point just to the left of the picture, so that locals/visitors can see the confluence of the three rivers.
