Not all that far from the pink excavator, I came across this field of Wild Turkeys. I would guess there were 25 to 30 in the field. I have to admit that I have never seen that many at one time - usually 6 to 8 max is what I see.

I sure wish I had Cindi's 400mm lens as these birds weren't about to get close to my car. At least I was able to get a "so so" image of a bunch of them. I tried using 300mm on the lens but they move so much and it was real overcast that I couldn't get a fast enough shutter speed to get sharp image of a single bird.
