Jennifer had crashed into a fence early in the race, had been dragged by her sled
for about 300 feet, and suffered a broken left hand, resulting in her having to
leave the race early. This photo was taken after the accident, before she stopped
to have emergency surgery. She still intends to race in the March Iditarod.
