AFC Champions!

Everyone that knows me knew this was on the schedule.
A new AFC championship hat was on its way.
Naturally, the only real place to buy it is the Pro Shop.
So bright and early off to the stadium.

I have to toot my own horn again.
On July 28th 2007 I said 19-0 this year.
Read my entry from that day, it is right there.
We are one game away from that goal.
Funny part is that once the regular season was over
all of that went out the window.
Now it is playoff football.
Win or go home.
Winning is better!

As for the rest of life (the real stuff),
things are going very well lately.
It seems that signing the new mortgage
brought about a finality that even the divorce didn't.
It was one of the last things I needed to finish
to finish off to complete my divorce agreement.
However, it really was like shutting a door.
It actually gave me closure for my feelings.
I wonder why it took money to do that.
Feelings are really funny things.
Even through all of this I was not done.
No matter the bravado I was throwing around,
there was still something inside me not done.
I'm glad this section of life has taken care of that.
This makes me wonder if the championship hat I am
wearing in the photo above was for the Pats or for me?
