Great pictures of an amazing building. I'm an architect & structural engineer, and this chapel, which is underneath the crossing of the nave & transepts, is one of my favorite spaces in the cathedral. The columns in the nave above are carved to look like clusters of smaller columns, which hides their mass. You don't realize how huge these columns are until you are in this chapel and realize that the curved walls in the corners of this chapel are actually just a small part of the foundations under the columns at the crossing above.

This is in the "St. Joseph of Arimathea" (Resurrection) chapel. It's much darker than the Bethlehem and Resurrection chapels.
