All these pictures were taken at the Etnographic Museum near the Blue Mosque and Blue Türbe. Some show costumes, some Iznik plates of the first period, some the removal of material for the transfer of a Roman mosaic from the place it was dug up.
On the picture: A section of the arched gallery that runs in U-shape around the inner courtyard (West, North and East). In the background lies the ‘dershane’ (classroom), which closes the courtyard on its south side.
