It's amazing how fast children grow. It really amazing when the children are your very own, but to sit by and watch your nephew grow is startling. My husbands family live in New York, we live in South Carolina. It's just over an hour airplane ride, or a grueling 15 hour car ride, your choice. Since there are four of us, and air tickets are rather spendy, we drive.. with two children of our own. So it would stand to reason we don't get up to New York very often, once a year to be exact.

We have a total of two neices and two nephews that we see once a year, and of course thru photographs, and there for awhile, webcam. (ours broke) It's amazing to see how much they have grown from one visit to the next.

This is Kyle. He is the oldest nephew,and the son of my husbands oldest brother. Kyle is 19. He is everything that a 19 year old male should be. As scarey as that may sound, I think he is pretty well grounded. His parents have done a great job raising him. I think he is respectful to females, (he had better be!) and has always been helpful... well for the most part, I am sure his mother will differ.

I remember when baseball was the most important thing in Kyle's life. He was really good at it, infact, he is pretty good at anything athletic. In the winter he does snow mobile racing. The extreme kind, jumps and all that jazz. While we were there, he made a "jump" in the front yard, if for nothing else, but to show off for us. I was impressed, and hurried to get my camera. Kyle knew this, and began to pour it on.
